Nutanix recommends that you perform all updates through LCM, where available. However, your platform vendor may recommend updates that are not yet available through LCM. The lag is caused by the time that it takes Nutanix to revalidate the LCM bundles after incorporating new updates from vendors.

   • Samsung PM1653 7.68 TB
5. New HDD support
   • LCM 2.5 adds inventory support for the Seagate 18 TB SAS SED [ST18000NM007J] hard disk drive.
6. SATA DOM update on ESXi 7.0
   • LCM 2.5 adds update support for SATA DOM on Nutanix NX platforms that use ESXi 7.0.
7. Redfish UEFI/XCC updates on Lenovo
   • LCM 2.5 adds support for UEFI and XCC updates using Redfish for EDGE and Whitley Lenovo platforms that use AHV on 22B firmware.
8. Automatic deletion of stale payloads on Dell 14G nodes
   • After a Dell update, LCM now checks /scratch/dell/appliance/updates/ for stale PTAgent payloads and deletes them if present.
9. Flag bad firmware version as critical update
   • LCM inventory now flags any SSD that currently has the known-bad firmware version XCV10132 installed as needing a Critical Update.
10. Flag bad BIOS version as critical update
    • LCM inventory now flags any Nutanix G8 platform that currently has BIOS version Wx10.104 installed as needing a Critical Update to version Wx20.005.
